Lawson Business Analyst
Nash Resources group is seeking a BA for a contract/contract-to-hire opportunity in Overland Park, KS. This position is responsible for analyzing business requirements and developing detail design specifications for enhancements, configuration changes and new information technology and systems. The Business Systems Analyst serves as the channel between the customer community and the software development team and is involved at some level throughout the entire product development life cycle. The Business Systems Analyst provides subject matter expertise and works with development teams to communicate design specifications and resolve problem with designs. The current Lawson environment is as follows:
(Installed applications:) HR, Procurement, Accounting, Payroll, BSI Tax Factory, MHC. The Lawson environment is: 8.04, Lawson Portal, Lawson applications are 8.1
Responsibilities
• Drive data quality and suggest improvements within application area (identify, make suggestions and execute data quality activities).
• Responsible for analyzing business requirements and developing detail design specifications for enhancements and new information technology solutions
• Develop end user training materials
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for a specific application
• Maintain user communities and ensure user satisfaction (understand requirements)
• Configure and improve the use of a specific application
• 2 years experience in the design and/or use of business management software systems relationship modeling.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements from users and communicate to IT Developers for application/ systems development.
• Knowledge/experience Lawson Software applications
Some of the specific Lawson expertise that we are looking for in a candidate:
• Lawson Modules - HR, Payroll, AP, AR, Allocations
• How long for the resource - 3 to 6 months with possibility for hire after this timeframe.
