Contract Specialists

Nash Resource Group has openings for Contract Specialists/Officers in Kansas City. These positions require previous government procurement with contract-specific experience; require IT contract experience. Mastery of Federal Government purchasing, processes and procedures is essential!

These opportunities involve and require the preparation and issuing of solicitations through contract engagement. This is full-cycle of acquisition from market research and pre-solicitation planning though contract administration and closeout. Your analysis and leaderships skills must include training others in the federal acquisition process.

These full-spectrum, senior-level positions include:
• Technical writing: solicitation, summary docs and requirements documentation
• Analysis: needs, cost, process and milestone
• Research: market research, technical standards, bid/fit
• Presentation: assist with pre-proposal conferences and documentation
• People Skills: training, knowledge transfer, conflict resolution
• Contract Analysis: scoping, amending, negotiating

Ideal candidates have:
• 10+ years as a Government Contracting Officer
• IT Contracting-specific procurement experience
• Procurement-specific training
• Government-focused leadership and training experience
• DAWIA level I, II or III
• FAC-C
• GS-12

Process Administrator

The Early Intervention Processor position is responsible for the accurate data entry and processing of project specific applications and claims. The Processor position is responsible for the processing of work that adheres to the established processes and procedures to ensure that quality standards, efficiency, productivity and SLA agreements are met or exceeded. The position will be data entry, but they will be required to read information off of Remittance Advises/Explanation of Benefits from hundreds of different insurance companies. If they have experience with reading EOB's and understand the different fields, this will help tremendously.

Candidates will also have balancing (clerking/bookkeeping) to do after they finish each batch. Accuracy is going to be a key component or they will be spending most of their time rechecking their work to see why it didn't balance.

• Perform processing, updating and data entry for project specific claims documents
• Track and report work completed
• Maintain monthly check run calendar
• Responsible for tracking and reporting daily work completed
• Identify and suggest process improvements
• Track and enter project and payroll time
• Basic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft products
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change

Drawing / Document Control

This position requires posting of drawing logs (manual forms and in Excel format), control of drawings, and maintain our drawing library (on drawing sticks and electronic files). This position also will perform other general administration support, manufacturing releases, filing, etc. We are looking for a person that is detail oriented, strong computer skills, motivated and does not require a lot of supervision.
